Our History

The Laughable Dream 

"Hey , I could build a greenhouse up here..."The mad utterings of a would-be home owner after I forced the realtor to walk me around the entire plot of the property.  We bought the place in 2018, and next spring I was dropping trees on the back hillside. After worrying my wife sick with my amateur logging for a season, we got heavy equipment and contractors involved.In spring of 2021 The greenhouse was erected, but far from finished. The first permaculture residents were planted and nursery operations began in earnest.  Today we grow Figs , and graft an exciting new variety of apple I have cultivated. We raise chickens for eggs and meat. Citrus, olives, avocados, Chinese dates, and Guava adorn the greenhouse.  And if you ask me we're still not full swing! I'm working on Bananas and varieties of water plants ...
